NOTE DE DÉGUSTATION
Un anneau magenta étroit autour d’un noyau de noir pourpre d’encre.
Le nez s’ouvre sur une rafale de fruits sombres et boisés, denses et succulents, mélangés à des arômes de baies rouges plus frais et plus vibrants. Une minéralité ardoise tient en échec ce fruité exubérant. A ce stade, le nez est encore réservé et discrètement aromatique, révélant des senteurs feuillues, balsamiques et des notes cédantes de bois scié.
La première impression en bouche, comme au nez, est de fruits noirs denses et serrés, qui explosent ensuite au milieu du palais et se jettent dans la finale longue. La texture est ronde et veloutée, mais les tanins tendus et tendres et un brin d’acidité croustillante apportent fermeté et structure. Le fruit complexe et stratifié typique de Fonseca l’influence sur ce vin lourd et puissant.
